How to Play Satta Matka
A simple, beginner-friendly guide to number selection, bet types and how results are declared.
The Basics
Satta Matka is a number-based game. You pick digits from 0 to 9 and wait for the draw. If the declared result matches your selection, you win a payout based on your bet type and the market rate.
How Number Selection Works
A player usually picks three numbers between 0 and 9. Add them up and keep only the last digit of the sum. For example, 1, 5 and 7 add up to 13, so the key number is 3, giving 1-5-7 * 3. The formula runs once for the open session and once for the close.
Common Bet Types
You can play several formats — choose what suits your strategy:
- Single — a single digit from 0 to 9.
- Jodi — a two-digit pair from 00 to 99.
- Patti / Panna — a three-digit combination.
- Half Sangam and Full Sangam — combination bets across both sets.
Open, Close and Result Declaration
Every market has an Open and a Close. Bets are placed before the Open; the winning numbers are confirmed at the Close. Check the result on the chart pages for your market — Kalyan, Milan, Rajdhani and more — updated on time.
Play Safe and Smart
Set a budget and stick to it, diversify your bets, and never chase losses. Treat guessing tips as optional reference points. There is no guaranteed number in Matka — it is a game of chance, so play responsibly. You must be 18+ to take part.
